14 Oct 2016: Off track in the Wild Strathbogies
Photos:
Mark Simpson, Ray Spooner
Our start to the weekend walk through...
looking down to where the cars were left
Ray led a gentle climb for starters
and, we were rewarded a magnificent view
Our first waterfall
Water was fresh and plentiful
There were many fern gullies
a few obstacles to negotiate
Sylvia scrambling up the hill
Dwarfed by some of the smaller boulders
:Looking towards Lake Eildon
breathtaking views for the sure footed
Playing hide and seek
One of the many rock tors
We were on that ridge 30 minutes ago
interesting rock formations
A leap of faith
Therese waiting her turn to cross Sandy Creek
Top of Sandy Creek Falls
Our lunch stop at a million dollar view...
Sandy Creek falls from above the opposite...
