7 Bushies assembled on a beautiful spring...
The first part of the Tom Kneen Track...

Soon we started the steep ascent up North...
past Hop Bitter-pea
and Alpine Podolobium.
Upward, ever upward
with the view down the Ovens Valley opening...
As we approached the top of the steep...
With a stark reminder of the fate of any...
Eventually we could see Mt Fainter
then Mt Bogong
Boronia started to appear
Eventually we reached the MUMC Memorial Hut,...
From which we had our first clear view of...
As we climbed higher the MUMC Hut receded in...

Mt Buffalo was easily recognisable.
From the summit ridge we could see patches...
And the view south to Mts Loch, Hotham and...
At last the summit!
