The 3 day Sunset Country remote walk starts...
Lake Becking is hyper-saline
Well above average rainfall preceded this...
Last year these three claypans were dry...
...but not this year...
The were more flowers and it was greener...
Our first campsite near Mt Crozier
Last year we saw no orchids, but this year...
Typically the orchids were growing in sandy...
Mallee tree with root bole exposed
The Lowan nest we saw last year was still...
And the non-active nest was still not being...
We saw many different flowers on the walk....
Camp 2 near Mt Jess.
Bell-fruit trees are growing in an area...
Bell-fruit trees also have distinctive bell...
Near the end of the walk, we left the track....
Our walk finished around the eastern side of...
