To become a member you are generally required to:
- Visit the clubroom for a brief introduction by a member on duty. There is a club meeting every Wednesday, 6:30 - 8:30pm, at The Mission for Seafarers Victoria (717 Flinders Street, Docklands);
- Complete up to three walks from the club's activities program (see alternatives below);
- On the last walk take along a membership application form and ask two members to nominate you; and
- Forward the application form plus the membership fee to the Membership Secretary. You can either bring it to a club meeting, email a copy to email@example.com or post it to Melbourne Bushwalkers, GPO Box 1751, Melbourne 3001.
During the qualifying period you will be a Temporary Member of the club for insurance purposes. This includes walkers who are registered on the clubs MeetUp site and seek to become a full club member.
